The video aired worldwide and international tourism numbers increased dramatically thanks to the fair-handed international press and the efforts of Governor Piset, Drew Noyes and all of those in attendance.

When the Chinese government halted tourism to Thailand in 2005 due to a Hong Kong TV exposé report on dirty water in two hotels in Pattaya Drew Noyes was summoned by government officials to “put out this fire.” Within 17 hours Drew Noyes and his crew from PAPPA Co., Ltd. shot and edited a widescreen, DVD and had it on a Thai government airplane to the Hong Kong TV station. The five minute video showed interviews with Chinese guests staying at the hotels in question and clean water flowing from hotel bathroom sinks. The Chinese hotel guests in Pattaya contradicted the negative report and said that the water shortage was a five-hour fluke and water was plentiful and clean in the hotels now. The Chinese government immediately lifted the travel ban to Thailand.
